Best samsonite omni vs winfield – Buying Guide And Recommendation

There is a way to selecting the best samsonite omni vs winfield budget and we trust this guide to place you on the right path in helping you find that which would be perfect for you.

1. Samsonite Omni PC Hardside Expandable Luggage with Spinner Wheels, Black, Checked-Large

Size:Checked-Large 28-Inch | Color:Black Introducing a line built to take the harshest travel elements Omni PC combines scratch resistant textures with the lightest 100% polycarbonate construction, ensuring your luggage looks as great on the 100th trip as it does on the 1st. This lightweight line offers heavyweight protection riding on effortless 360 spinner wheels. Don’t pull your case; let Omni PC roll comfortably beside you on your journey. Design includes expansion for added capacity when needed.

TSA locks ensure your belongings arrive safely to your destination. Extremely lightweight and visually impactful, this collection takes 100% polycarbonate design to the next level. Hardside Care: To clean hardside luggage, we recommend using a gentle soap and warm water, rinsing well. If you would like to wax the case after cleaning, any good silicone-base automobile or furniture polish will preserve the luster and add resistance to the covering. We do NOT recommend, however, that you try to clean the luggage with a combination cleaner-polish.

Shell material is made of injection molded polycarbonate, a highly impact-resistant plastic that is strong and lightweight.

I saw that the dimension is 62.5 Have anyone experienced international trips with this suitcase?

2. Would you recommend this set, has it held up well to general airline abuse?

I have had this set of spinners for 2 1/2 years, in its time it has been to over 30 countries, hundreds of flights, living out of these suitcases for approx 3-4 months a year and the 20” carry on handle just broke the other day after a 3 week trip. – It’s the bag I use the most frequently and I’d say that is one hell of a run. I’m back here to buy another 20” spinner to replace mine because its track record with me personally speaks for itself. I will say that I hope the handle on this spinner is more ridged – Just my two cents on a topic I know better than most anyone.

3. how much does each case weigh when empty?

Spinner 20: 6.81 lbs
Spinner 24: 8.34 lbs
Spinner 28: 10.35 lbs

4. What is the difference between 20 and One Size selection?

It means that for the 20 inch case shown on this page there is only one size. Other sizes of this case are shown on different pages. I agree that it is confusing.

In the last couple years it began to show it’s age, but it wasn’t until the handle finally ripped off and the inner lining tore a small hole on my most recent trip that I admitted it was finally time to move on.

My initial inclination was to buy something cheap – I don’t need fancy luggage, I got student loans to pay… So I was poking around and looking at options in the $30 – $40 market, and there were some that looked ok. But then I would dig into the reviews and read about them breaking on the first trip, or having stuck wheels or finicky handles… Not feeling satisfied I put off the purchase for a while. I went to a store and looked at some of these models in person, and I was startled by how flimsy they felt in person. They were not built to handle the abuse of transatlantic air-travel. Feeling ambivalent, I put off the decision yet again.

Fast forward to Tuesday of this week, no suitcase purchased, my flight is Friday morning. I pull my old trusty carry-on out of storage and seriously debate taking it on one last journey… just one more time?? The suitcase does not want. So I come back to Amazon and search again until I find this suitcase. It’s not super cheap, but it’s not expensive either, and it has a great color, and good reviews, and it sturdy in the photos… I’m still undecided, but, well, clock is ticking, I bite the bullet.

Suitcase arrived just in time for my flight 🙂 My roommate carried the box upstairs for me this afternoon and when I thanked her, commented on how light it was. As soon as I open it I am relieved, this is a strong and sturdy suitcase, and it looks smart. The handle is long, and slides out easily, doesn’t rattle around like those other flimsier models did. Wheels are seemingly good quality. The body looks quite durable and scratch resistant, the zipper is good quality, oh and there’s even a lock. It holds a lot of stuff for how small it is, and it is expandable which is helpful for people who sometimes overpack.

UPDATE: Suitcase held up perfectly over 4 four flights over the holidays, on two of which it actually had to be checked because the flight was very full. Not a single scratch or dent, no signs of wear, and it was easy to travel with – rolled smoothly and easily, sturdy handle..

Anne-Michele L. says: “Finally got the chance to use this luggage set. Just spent nearly a month touring Europe with this set. We flew to Paris from Chicago. Then we flew from Paris to Madrid and then from Madrid to Rome. Then we took trains all over Italy, a cruise throughout Greece and some other stops in Monaco and France. We carried not only enough clothes for a long trip but we also got married in the Greek Islands so we also had a wedding gown and tux in here as well. To say that our luggage needed to be spacious, easily maneuverable, and
strong enough to bear up to that much travel without wrecking our clothes is an understatement. We chose Samsonite as my previous set was 16 years old and still going strong. To see how the all wheel luggage performed we went to a nearby Samsonite store. The ultra lite series seemed entirely too flimsy for our needs and we decided on this set. I read all the reviews online and, despite being concerned about the one review I saw about the large bag being beyond regulation size, I ordered this set. Now on the other side of our trip I can tell you not once did any airline mention the bag’s total dimensions (to be honest I’ve never seen an airline baggage handler with a tape measure and really think they only care if it makes weight) and how many times we discussed during the trip how great this luggage set had performed. We planned at the start that we would pack without unzipping the 2″ extensions to start and would know we had bought enough souvenirs once all three bags had been extended. It all worked exactly as planned. The bags were sturdy and well balanced. We were easily able to put our backpacks and carryon bags on top of these and not need to keep a hold of them to keep them from tipping. We did get one scratch on the large bag but it is not really noticeable. Hope this long review helps as I was on the fence from the previous reviews on whether to buy or not and knew I would give this set the great review it deserved once home..

If its full, the contents will make it stronger, Soft side or fabric bags don’t have this issue as much. If you have a broken carry handle on you bag when you check it and it weighs 50#, there is no way to grab it. It will get dropped and damaged. Also never check a bag with a busted wheel or dragger handle that won’t latch in place. They will come loose in the conveyor systems and tear the bag apart. Never check a bag with broken zipper or latch. It will come open and all your stuff will be lost or returned to you in a garbage bag. In spite of all the BS you see on TV, most airline baggage handlers are as careful as they can be with your bag. Just never check a damaged bag.

2/17: Bag survived first international trip – no problems. Greece + cruise. Taking it skiing tomorrow. Bought a “X” strap for it. Don’t check any bag unless you use a strap. This one ($8 prime) goes both ways “X”. Excellent..

UPDATE (11/22/2018)

I took the middle suitcase with me to Europe. I traveled to London, Brussels, Munich, back to Brussels, Paris, Rome, Florence, Venice, back to London, Bristol, Bath, London again before returning to LA in a matter of a few weeks. I traveled by plane (checked baggage), train, bus, Uber’s, subway, and on foot. I can proudly say this suitcase is tuff as nails. I really pushed it past it’s limit and then some. It’s survived gravel, cobblestone roads, and even being dragged up and down stairs by the handle (I know, I know, you’re not SUPPOSED to do that) and it survived without a scratch on the suitcase itself. Which wouldn’t bother me anyway. They’re like a sign of being well travelled, but I digress. The wheels are scratched up, but that’s about it. Lastly, towards the middle through the end of my trip, I tied a duffle bag with a luggage bungee cord (also purchased on Amazon) which just added more weight. The suitcase did not fall over. I highly recommend these suitcases! It’s a great investment.

——

These just arrived so I’ll update my review after my upcoming trip to Europe. Let me preface this review by saying I’ve only owned the old fashioned fabric suitcases with wheels. My motivation for ordering a more hard shell set of suit cases was for some type of protection against the rain. My last two trips to Central America and Europe were not great. On several occasions my fabric suit cases got soaked in the rain and so did all my stuff.

Any who, I did a lot of research before picking this set. I was leaning towards the Amazon brand because I can be cheap, but these had such great reviews. I figured the extra bucks were worth it. I wanted the Caribbean Blue so bad. It looks gorgeous in the photos! But I’m cheap so I ordered black. Still gorgeous.

It rolls fine even on carpet so I expect it will survive cobblestone roads. The hard shell case looks protective, but then again I understand it not impenetrable. I expect it will likely get scratches, but that’s the price you pay for frequent travel.

I had read other reviews about some annoying plastic on each suitcase. Either it varies by seller or perhaps several sellers have now listened and made changes. Unpacking was simple. It arrived as expected and on time. Each individual suit case was simply wrapped in a plastic bag, similar to a dry cleaners. Then they were stacked into each other similar to Russian dolls. It arrived in one box.

My only complaint is there were no instructions for setting up the locks. I had to search for a video on YouTube. I went ahead and posted a video with my review. Hopefully it’s helpful!

Thankfully, I have yet to have an issue with getting my luggage mixed up at the carousel so that’s not a concern even now. But I’ll still secretly thing of the Caribbean Blue I was too cheap to pay for.

I purchased these for an upcoming trip to Europe later this month so I’ll definitely provide an update once I’m back in October..

The 20- the carry on fits prefect in the over head. The carry on, I think is the best item. When walking down the those tiny aisle on the plane, you don’t have to carry it at all. The four spinner wheels roll nice and smooth when getting on or off the plane, especially if you have a lot of stuff.

Farm wife says: “Took it on a business trip with my husband to Florida and I loved it. It pulled easily in every direction and never got hung up on anything, even in the parking lot. One thing I really liked was that both sides are the same size – I put pants and heavier things on the bottom and found I could put shirts and blouses on the other side and it seemed like everything packed better than in all my other regular suitcases. The top side has a mesh cover that zips over everything – I liked that. The size was just
right – did some shopping while there and got everything in without having to use the expandable zipper coming home! There is a moderate amount of “give” between the two sides after it’s zipped, even without using the third zipper to let things out more. And the color is just so pretty! It was the only teal hardsider on the baggage carousels every time!.

My last carry on suitcase served me well for over 12 years, accompanying me on countless trips, usually over-stuffed, through winter weather, through slush and rain and dragged across the cobble-stone streets in Berlin.

Most Frequently Asked Question:

1. Will this work well as a carry on, for the major airlines?

American airlines you can have a max linear measurement of 45″ for carry on. So you just total up lxwxh and if it’s below 45″ your good. Personal item you can have a max of 36″.

2. Does this scratch easily?

I have never see luggage scratch so easily. I had been traveling for the past 10 years on planes, 3 times a week. I received this set of luggage as a retirement gift and am truly sorry I did not pick something else and purchase my own luggage. I would not recommend it to anyone.

3. Does this suitcase meet the under 60 linear inches requirement (including the wheels and handle)?

How could the answer be yes when it exceeds 62 linear inches, which on Untied is a $200 penalty charge on top of the regular luggage fee, twice the price of this luggage for a one-way trip? For the 28, outside dimensions per Amazon are OVERALL Dimensions: 31.0″ x 20.0″ x 12.75″, Weight: 11.5 lbs. = 63.75.United and other airlines allow 62″ max.

4. Do the 3 items fit into each other for easy storage?

Yes they fit very well inside one another for easy storage. The luggage has more than ample space to put all you need in it for a week vacation.

I can’t say enough good things about this line from Samsonite! Since purchasing them a year ago to replace my older luggage I’ve taken them all over Brazil, all over Argentina, Singapore a dozen times, Bangkok at least once a month for the last 2 years, Ho Chi Min, all over Cambodia, and of course on trips around the US.

I’ve thrown them on and off buses, dragged them from train to train, crammed them in and out of more taxis and shuttles than I can count, and dragged them about a mile and a half down the road in the rain (they’re surprisingly water resistant at the seams and expansion fabric…although certainly not water proof).

Through it all the handles have held up, despite the larger two consistently weighing in at 70 lbs and the carry-on frequently tipping the scale at close to 40 lbs (don’t tell the airlines…that’s way too heavy for a carry-on to be) and the wheels are still in amazing shape.

The bags also look fantastic given them beating they get! There are a few scratches here and there and I’ve frequently gotten a bag back with a corner smashed in…but it always pops right back into place with no issues, and the contents are always safe and secure.

The locks are still in perfect working order…the handles still slide in and out easily and feel solid when locked into place. All of the zippers work perfectly.

The single significant gripe I have about this set of bags that would make it absolutely perfect would be more handles.

The carry-on only has a handle on the top of the bag…which makes it a bit awkward for carrying up and down stairs…a side handle like the other two have would be ideal.

It would also be nice if there was a grip of some sort on the bottom so that you could more easily lift with two hands when moving it up onto a rack or something of that nature…while most purchasers won’t use them to the degree that I do, most will at some point want to put this bag onto a stand in the hotel or lift one up onto a shelf in the terminal bus…the largest bag in particular has a deceptive amount of storage space (I’ve had it loaded to 104 lbs) and picking it up by the top handle and a rotating wheel is…not super fun.

That one caveat though shouldn’t discourage anyone from buying them…they’ve stood as well and better to any number of other more expensive bags I’ve owned, including other Samsonites…I’ve been very pleased with them, and expect them to last at least another few years at my current travel pace. For people like my parents who only fly a few times a year this bag could very well be the last one you ever have to buy.

EDIT 02/17/2017:

I’ve now purchased 3 full sets of this luggage, 2 in Charcoal for me and a purple set for my girlfriend. I can literally pack everything we own save our camping gear and bikes in those 9 bags…to date the only issue I’ve ever had was that someone tried to get into one of them and tore through the zipper with a screwdriver or knife…the end result was one zipper clasp was completely missing and a few teeth on the zipper got bent up pretty badly. I sent it off to one of their authorized dealers in Singapore though and was able to repair it with no issues while I was in Malaysia for a few months.

EDIT 01/11/2018:

After 2 years and just shy of 100 flights, I ripped the seam of the inside liner on one medium bag. I don’t think this was the result of bad workmanship however, rather I’d only packed clothes and some camera gear into the top section and zipped it off. The other side was not entirely empty but close. I think at some point the pressure of the gear against the fabric divider, without the support of gear on the opposite side allowed enough motion to cause the seam to give out. It’s being repaired now…I’ll add a picture once I get it back..

If you are worried about the zipper splitting, get yourself some of those luggage straps that buckle around the luggage – shouldn’t HAVE to do this, but airport staff usually don’t care too much about how they handle your checked luggage. Anyway, I like the suit cause – it’s incredibly light for such a big and heavy-duty suitcase. Because it is so big, it will be easy to over pack and end up over the weight limit. It is worth picking up a $10
luggage scale. You already spent over $100, so it’s a worthy investment to prevent yourself from paying overweight fees. Good luck!.

I ordered this suitcase just prior to a week-long trip to Arizona. I traveled by plane, using this as a carry-on with United. It fits within their carry-on guidelines.

PROS:
– Shockingly spacious inside given the outside measurements! Several helpful doodads (interior zippers and pockets, straps to hold down clothes and other items) to help me cram a ton of things inside — enough for a packing-heavy lady to travel for a week with two pairs of shoes, several different outfits, and toiletries.
– Extremely convenient four-wheel design. I had never owned a suitcase with this option before and I will never go back to two wheels. This completely saved my arm/shoulder walking through the huge Phoenix and Denver airports, especially with a full messenger bag tucked over the top handle weighing it down.
– Gorgeous color. I got this in the purple shade and it truly is a sight to behold. Easy to distinguish in a crowd.
– I am 5’4″ and not particularly strong; I had no trouble lifting this in/out of overhead bins or on/off escalators.
– Strong, easy-to-close zippers and super convenient locking mechanism.

CONS:
– The suitcase can be difficult to maneuver on four wheels at times, especially when I had the messenger bag resting on top. It did tip over once when I was a little too overzealous. This issue did not come up anywhere near frequently enough to cut a star, but is worth mentioning.
– The beautiful exterior does seem to scratch rather easily.

Overall, I strongly recommend this suitcase to any casual traveler searching for a 20″ model. I love it and I hope you will too!.

This is the 3rd set of these bags I’ve purchased. I own 2 full sets myself and just bought the purple set for my girlfriend as a Christmas gift…her luggage was falling apart on us when we were traveling so she always used one of my sets anyway.

They really are incredible pieces of luggage…to date I’ve had them out in the rain, loaded them up with upwards of 150 lbs and then thrown a 100 lb duffel on top and still rolled them around with relative ease and with no degradation or breaks in the wheels (although with this much weight the bag will start to sag if you have the expansion zipper unzipped…which I think should probably be expected).

Thus far the only two issues I’ve had with any of them is that:

…one telescoping handle on the carry on of one of my sets is slightly bent now after I dropped it down an escalator with the handle extended. The impact at the bottom with 65 lbs of weight behind it was enough to cause a small bend. As a result it didn’t slide in and out quite as easily as before until I took two minutes to gently bend it back. Now it works perfectly but has a blemish.

…someone tried to break into one of them in Thailand and ripped a zipper tab off entirely as well as bending up a number of teeth. They didn’t actually get anything out of it, but I did have to send the bag to the service center in Singapore. This might surprise you, but they don’t cover lunatic thief damage in the warranty so it cost a few bucks to get a new tab. I actually opted for buying TWO new tabs so they matched perfectly…so that was a few more dollars on top of the few dollars it had cost before! Vanity. It’ll get you every time.

Otherwise these bags have been abused by literally dozens and dozens of angry airport baggage handlers, bored taxi drivers, underpaid hotel and bus porters, and I’ve never gotten them back with anything inside damaged. PS4 always works like a charm and my shampoo is always in the bottle where it belongs!

They’re exactly what you’d want in a functional suitcase.

One thing that might be nice would be more handles…the carry on only has one handle on the top, and would greatly benefit from one on the side like it’s two larger counterparts, and it would be nice if there was an indention or some other way to grip the bottom…throwing this onto the top of a truck when it’s fully loaded when all you can hold onto is one handle and a wheel is not fun. …but to be fair, most of Samsonite’s target demo won’t be throwing this suitcase onto the top of a truck. So there’s that! :).

The price was better and the reviews were pretty good. Well, after having them for several months and many airline trips I have to say that I am very happy with this luggage set. They have tons of room inside for packing, they have a zipper closure that separates the two sides. They weigh almost nothing and we can load them with our items instead of loosing 10 lbs just for the suite case itself.
The wheels spin and move like butter on a hot pan! I have had others that I would swear that all four wheels are trying to move in separate directions! They have been tossed around like a sac of potatoes by the airline staff and they still look great! I am very happy with my purchase..

No problems with the wheels or the case itself. I haven’t used the lock because it doesn’t matter. If they want to search your luggage they will, and there is nothing that the baggage handlers will want to steal. I traveled 72,000 miles last year with this bag. NOYB says: “The negative reviewers either were unnecessarily rough with the suitcase, or they just had some bad luck.

1. Will this set nest in each other for storage?

Yes. You are able to put the luggage all into the biggest one for storage.

2. 3 piece set- how many pieces does this set includes?

Lol the 3 piece set would include at least three pieces

3. Is the 20 inch luggage expandable and has a side handle?

The 20 inch is expandable and does have a side handle.

4. Need to meet International luggage size/weight restrictions. Suggested model?

Most of them do fit, the sum of all 3 dimensions must be within 62”, so you can always just browse models and do the math for each but most of the luggage is specifically design to meet that requirement.

I bought this for my daughter who travels a lot. We wanted it to be strong and hoped that the wheels and zipper would hold up with time. So far she has been to Berlin, London and back and the luggage looks good as new.
Being an engineer, I wanted the sides to be made of Polycarbonate (PC) and not the cheaper ABS. PC is very tough and almost impossible to break. Some manufacturers make the sides with a thinner PC to lower the cost and that makes it susceptible to tearing. The sides are made of PC and do not feel too thin to me. The wheels move smoothly. I did worry that the wheels are exposed and may get hit while being transported. Time will tell.. The zipper works well. Did I say that the luggage looks great and the blue color is just right? Well it is.. I recommend this product based on initial appearance and an extensive international trip it went on…

Has tons of organizers and the center divider is a great feature. Best of all it’s easy to keep clean and looking new. My suitcases are the fabric cases and are over 10 years old. Zippers are busting and they get so dirty. I’ll be phasing them out for more of these.

Most Frequently Asked Question:

Aneta Baloyan says: “This luggage is huge! It is not so tall, but the volume is actually huge due to the depth! The materials seem to be durable. I had several issues before with the metals parts bending and basically ruining the whole luggage, as it can’t be recovered by “bending back”. So I payed attention to this one, and the material seems to be firm, which I guess adds up a little bit of weight, but surely it’s worth it! The empty weight is 5kg. The wheels rotate 360 degrees. Will update this review after my trip. Update: Travelled half of the world

My Ricardo case had bigger wheels and was easier to pull, but the Samsonite is definitely better built. Durability? well, time will tell. I hope it doesn’t suffer the same cold weather failure my Ricardo suffered. It cracked from stem to stern after being left outside by baggage handlers at a Virginia airport in below freezing conditions. I suspect that all polycarbonite cases will suffer the same fate.

Most Frequently Asked Question:

1. will this meet international carry on standards ?

It looks to be too large for United Airlines. According to their website: The maximum dimensions for a carry-on bag are 9 inches x 14 inches x 22 inches (22 cm x 35 cm x 56 cm), including handles and wheels.20”

Meanwhile, this one is half an inch too large at 20 x 14.5 x 8. Though it’s smaller in two dimensions, I believe that 14.5 as opposed to 14 could spell trouble.

2. Has anyone had issues checking in this luggage on a domestic flight?

So far, I haven’t been charged an oversize baggage fee when I’ve checked it, but as each airline has rules regarding size limits, I suggest checking online or calling the airline ahead of time and have the measurements ready.

3. The product dimensions indicate under 62” but does it really meet international flight requirement or not?

Fully packed my Samsonite Leverage was closer to 66 inches.

4. Does this suitcase include the umbrella holder pictured? Could the seller please check the item and give a valid answer?

No it does not have an umbrella holder. Although, if it is a travel sized umbrella, i think you can fit it in that upper zipper compartment. Otherwise, it is an excellent case and i would recommend it.
What Real Customers Say About This Product?

Robin E says: “Great, durable Carry On Suitcase. I fly standby so carry on is required and I only get 1 so max space while fitting in the overhead is a must. This case delivers space and durability while fitting in the overhead compartment. Handles are not flimsy or cheap, but rigid and adjustable to different heights. In larger overheads bag fits in on its’ side, smaller overheads it goes in flat on its’ back. The matching under-seat bag is a great addition for more packing space and it attaches to this bag for easy, effortless moving around. I use crunch bags inside to
maximize space and keep things organized. I was a little concerned the wheels where too small and might break-off. Not a single issue yet and it rolls well on 2 or 4 wheels. Expanding zipper to make more room (1″-2″) a nice feature. All the zippers are large, heavy duty and easy to operate. Handle is padded to make lifting easy on your hand. Don’t waste your money on the 3X more expensive designer bags, this bag (and companioning under seat bag) are a good buy with very good build quality..

M.M.T. says: “Perfect, huge suitcase. Ive heard bad stories about wheels coming off. One big trip and so far so good. I wouldn’t be able to use it without the wheels. It is so nice and roomy that it would be too heavy without the wheels. But all I technically need are 2 wheels to keep it rolling. And because of the 360 degree spin on all the wheels, I could lose any 2 wheels so long as the 2 remaining were next to one another. Let’s hope I don’t lose any! I bet there was a warranty offer in the suitcase I
possibly ignored. But the warranty offer comes with the purchase, for an additional cost, when you’re completing your order. Anyway, not needed yet! Great suitcase. Beautiful. Comes with one of those covers you put nicer clothing on hangers into. It’s like, a bag but this one is flat and doesn’t zip closed. I used it and was happy I had it for my nice dresses. I especially love all of the little side pockets and mesh pockets in the suitcase. There are so many and it really helps keep all the small things separate, while leaving a ton of room for my daughter and I to share a case for a 5- day trip to go to a destination wedding. Had to fit a few bulky shoes, dresses, bathing suits, a steamer, etc. It was perfect. It’s very spacious. Now I just need a 1 size down suitcase for shorter trips!.

So my experience so far tells me that as long as you don’t exceed your airline’s max allotted luggage weight you should be ok. I’m a little bit concerned about the wheels. If some of them fail, you’ll end up with a shopping cart-like baggage going in whatever direction it wants to. But that’s the risk with any four-wheeler luggage, I’m afraid. So far, happy with my purchase.

The suitcase itself is easy to organize and will hold everything needed for a 3 week international trip. The only problem we had was it was so easy to over pack and exceed the weight allowance permitted by the airline. I would recommend this suitcase.

I do see some folks saying the wheels on theirs broke, but mine held up fine on the sidewalks in London for a mile or so walking from the tube to my hotel. I was a little nervous about the wheels before the trip. Not sure if it’s still an issue or if they’ve fixed it, though I’ve only taken it on the one trip.

I originally bought the large version and had to return it. Shame on me for not doing my due diligence, but as soon as I pulled it out of the box I thought the size would be an issue. I was flying Delta and checked their maximum dimensions for checked bags. Sure enough, it exceeded the max. I mean, it probably would have been fine, but I didn’t want to risk having to pay even more on an already expensive trip. The medium is significantly smaller, but it was plenty big enough for me to take on a long holiday..
